Sermon Title:

“Tell The Truth All The Time” from the Series: Living Wisely #5.

What to expect:

A Warm Welcome.  If you're new, stop in at the Welcome Room for brochures and an orientation.  If you need childcare for your infant or want to know where your five year old goes to class, they will tell you.  Then grab a cup of coffee right next door and visit for a while before the service begins.  You’ll be surprised at how many people will say hello.  A “cry room” is located on the second floor for moms who have to leave the service with their little one.  Don’t be discouraged—it’s the best room in the house to view the service!

Praise and Worship.    A talented group of musicians will lead the congregation in singing contemporary music.  Their job?  To help God’s people experience His presence.  Our job?  To connect with the Lord and enter in to the worship.  People come from many different backgrounds, so feel free to express your love to the Lord in whatever ways you are comfortable.

Greeting Time:  After worship, there will be a time to say hello to the people around you and get to know them better.  Don’t freeze up!  Just be friendly and say, “Hi, I’m new here.  How about you?”

Drama/Special Music:  There will often be either a dramatic sketch or a piece of special music during the service.  If the drama is funny—laugh!  If the music is appreciated—clap!

Message:  Pastor Art holds two seminary degrees, so you can be assured that his handling of the Bible is top notch.  However, you’ll find that his sense of humor will often find release during the message, making the sermon anything but boring!  Pastor Art will also help you practically apply what you’re hearing.  An outline is provided with your bulletin.  Use it to follow along.

Prayer/Fellowship:  Right after the service, our prayer team is available to pray with you, no matter what the need.  Before and after the service look around for someone to say hello too.  Grab a cup of coffee and stick around for a while.  Remember that newcomers get a free tape of the service.
